THE NOTE
On cars of release till 2001 for adjustment of backlashes of valves adjusting washers, and on cars of release since 2001 — the pushers having a various thickness are used.

Cars till 2001 of release
If backlashes of valves differ from demanded values, adjust them.
Turn a cranked shaft of the engine in position at which camshaft cams over the valve demanding adjustment, will be directed upwards.

Establish the special tool for
утапливания a pusher on a camshaft from outside spark plugs over a valve pusher (
fig. 2.51). Compress tool handles, thus the valve pusher will be drowned downwards, and establish between edge of a pusher and a camshaft an emphasis (
fig. 2.52). Remove the special tool for
утапливания a valve pusher. An edge of a screw-driver or tweezers take an adjusting washer and by a micrometer measure its thickness.

If backlashes of valves differ from demanded values, remove a camshaft (or camshafts) and pushers. By a micrometer measure a thickness of a head of a pusher (
fig. 2.53).
All models
Define a thickness of a new adjusting washer or a pusher head under the formula:
N = T + (AND — V),
Where And — the measured backlash, mm;
N — a settlement thickness of a new adjusting washer or a pusher head, mm;
Т — a thickness of the removed adjusting washer or a pusher head, mm;
V — a nominal backlash, mm.
Choose an adjusting washer or a pusher with the thickness closest to the settlement.
In spare parts adjusting washers in the thickness from 2,5 to 3,3 mm with step of 0,05 mm, and pushers in the thickness from 5,060 to 5,740 mm with step of 0,020 mm are delivered.

Establish the special tool for
утапливания a pusher on a camshaft from outside spark plugs over a valve pusher (
fig. 2.51). Compress tool handles, thus the valve pusher will be drowned downwards, and establish between edge of a pusher and a camshaft an emphasis (
fig. 2.52). Remove the special tool for
утапливания a valve pusher. An edge of a screw-driver or tweezers take an adjusting washer if it has not been taken earlier. Instead of it establish a new washer. Again establish the special tool for
утапливания a valve pusher. Compress handles of the special tool and remove an emphasis.
Щупом measure a backlash in a valve drive.
Repeat operations on replacement of adjusting washers by other valves demanding adjustment of a backlash.
Cars of release since 2001
Establish pushers with settlement thickness of a head, preliminary having greased with their engine oil. Also put a butter layer on the internal part of a pusher contacting to a rod of the valve.
Establish a camshaft (camshafts).
All models
Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, screw spark plugs and connect to them tips of high-voltage wires or the ignition coil.
