Removal
Removal of a head of the block of cylinders spend on the cold engine in a following order:
– Dump pressure in fuel system;
– Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery;
– Merge cooling liquid;
– Remove a belt of a drive of hinged units;
– Remove the generator;
– Uncover heads of the block of cylinders;
– Remove throttle knot, atomizers and a distributive fuel highway;
– Remove an inlet collector;
– Remove a final collector;
– Remove a chain and asterisks from camshafts;
– Remove camshafts and pushers;

– Mark and disconnect from a head of the block of cylinders hoses of system of cooling both all electric wires and sockets (
fig. 3.79);

– Remove a head from the block of cylinders. If the head sits very densely, a screw-driver from outside, an opposite chain of a drive

Installation
At replacement of a head of the block in cooling system it is necessary to fill in a fresh cooling liquid.

Privalochnye surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders should be absolutely pure. For their clearing use a firm plastic or wooden scraper (
fig. 3.81). At clearing be careful, as the aluminium alloy is very easy for damaging. Be convinced that the deposit has not got to channels of system of greasing and cooling. It is especially important for greasing system as the deposit can block oil giving to engine details. If necessary clean channels. If pollution have got to cylinders, remove them therefrom a vacuum cleaner.
Check up привалочные surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders: on them there should not be notches, deep scratches and other damages. Small defects can be eliminated machining. At detail major defects are subject to replacement.
Tap clear a carving of apertures for bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders in the block. Clear apertures under bolts in the block. Вворачивание a bolt in the aperture filled with oil can break off the block because of hydraulic pressure.
Installation make in a following order:
– Establish details and knots which acted in film from a head of the block of cylinders;
– Check up that directing plugs are established in the block of cylinders;

New lining of a head of the block of cylinders take from packing directly ahead of installation.

– Establish a lining on directing plugs, thus an inscription top should be directed to a head, and marks 1 (
fig. 3.82) linings to settle down from the back party of the engine;

– Put on a lining a layer of hermetic RTV in width of 2,5-3,0 mm in the places shown on
fig. 3.83.
– Establish a head on the block of cylinders, without breaking lining position;
– Put on a carving and under heads of bolts a thin layer of engine oil, insert bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders and tighten them by hand;
– In the sequence shown on
fig. 3.84, in two stages tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders:
– 1st — tighten the moment 79 Nm;
– 2nd — tighten on a corner 90 .
Further it is not required additional pulling up of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.
The further installation of a head of the block of cylinders is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Check up and, if necessary, adjust backlashes of valves.
Fill in cooling liquid.
Establish the new oil filter and fill in in the engine engine oil.
Start up the engine and check up on absence of leaks.
