Removal
Removal of a final collector spend on the cold engine in a following order:
– Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery;
– Tighten a lay brake and establish an emphasis under back wheels;
– Lift a forward part of the car and establish on support;
– Remove грязезащитный a guard of a motor compartment;

– Put on bolts 1,2 (
fig. 3.77) and springs of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe to a final collector the means facilitating them
отворачивание. After impregnation of bolts, turn out them and separate from a collector a reception exhaust pipe, thus be careful not to damage gauges of oxygen 3;
– Turn out bolts of fastening of the bottom braces of a final collector;
– Disconnect electric sockets from oxygen gauges;
– From a motor compartment remove the top thermofilter of a final collector. There is also a bottom thermofilter which is attached from below a final collector, and it is not required to be removed;

– Turn out nuts (
fig. 3.78) and bolts and, having pulled from a head of the block of cylinders, remove a final collector with a lining.
Installation
Installation make in a following order:
– A scraper remove the rests of an old lining and adjournment of soot with привалочных surfaces of a final collector and a head of the block of cylinders;
– If the new final collector is established, it is necessary to rearrange from an old collector on a new bottom thermofilter;
– Establish a new lining of a final collector on a head of the block of cylinders according to inscriptions available on it and signs;
– Establish a final collector and fix its nuts. Tighten nuts in some passes, since the centre and further on a spiral.
The further installation spend to sequences, return to removal.
Start up the engine and check up on absence of leaks of the fulfilled gases.
