On models since 2001 the gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine is built in the gauge of a measuring instrument of the expense of air (MAF).
The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine, represents the thermoresistor, i.e. the resistor which resistance changes depending on temperature. At reduction of temperature resistance of the gauge increases and on the contrary (specifications see).
Replacement of the gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine (IAT), on models till 2001 spend as follows:
– Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery;

– Disconnect from gauge IAT an electric socket (
fig. 7.10);
– Take gauge IAT from the case of the air filter.
