PREVENTIONS
Cars are equipped by safety systems (SRS), including pillows of safety and натяжители seat belts. Before work about gauges of blow, the panel of devices and a steering column disconnect at first negative, and then positive the plug from the storage battery and wait 2 minutes It will exclude unapproved disclosing of pillows of safety and operation натяжителей seat belts which can put physical injuries.
Not to damage PCM a charge of a static electricity, at removal and block installation do not concern contacts in electric sockets.

The engine management block (PCM) is located in a forward part of the central console from outside the driver on cars till 2001 and under the panel to the right of a ware box of devices on cars since 2001 (
fig. 7.4,
7.5).
For block removal do the following.
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
On models till 2001 further operate in a following order:
– Release and turn on a carpet covering of a floor and remove the left cover of the central console;
– Disconnect an electric socket from the engine management block;

At a detachment and connection of an electric socket from the engine management block, for an exception of damage of the block, ignition should be switched off.

– Turn out bolts of fastening of the block of engine management to arms;
– Remove the engine management block, before removal of the block of management, remove from a body an electrostatic charge, having touched with a hand a body, and store PCM on a special antistatic pillow.
On models since 2001 further operate in a following order:
– Remove a ware box;
– Remove upholsteries of the right forward threshold and the bottom part of a forward rack;
– Disconnect an electric socket from the engine management block;
