To analyze control systems of the engine, portable scanners are used. All models are equipped by system of onboard diagnostics OBD-II. This system consists of the onboard computer named the block of engine management (PCM), and the information gauges supervising various functions of the engine and sending data PCM. This system includes a number of diagnostic registrars which find out malfunctions in system of injection of fuel and a control system of steams of fuel and store the information in memory of the computer. This updated system also checks and diagnoses gauges and clears codes. For connection with the powerful diagnostic computer the 16-contact electric socket of communication of the data (DLC) is used. PCM by means of electronics operates fuel system and system of catching of steams of fuel. On the basis of the received information from gauges, PCM target signals operates various relays, fuel atomizers both other devices and drives. PCM is adjusted so that to optimise toxicity of the fulfilled gases, to keep car dynamic characteristics at the economic expense of fuel.
