Tighten a lay brake and block back wheels an emphasis.
Loosen the nuts of fastening of a forward wheel. Lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support. Remove a forward wheel. Screw nuts of fastening of a wheel on hairpins, having enclosed under them thick washers, for fixing of a disk for the period of check.

Remove a support of a forward brake, without disconnecting from it a brake hose. A soft wire tie up a support to a forward rack. Turn out two bolts of fastening

fig. 11.20). Do not lose directing brake
pads.
Slowly rotating a brake disk, visually check up its condition from two parties. Deterioration of a brake disk from pads should be in admissible limits. If there are cracks on a disk, the disk is subject to replacement.

The indicator of hour type check up palpation of a brake disk. The indicator of hour type fix in any convenient place and, rotating a brake disk, define its palpation on distance of 12 mm from external edge (
fig. 11.21). Before check of palpation of a brake disk be convinced that the nave bearing is in a good condition.
Check up a brake disk on absence of cracks, especially round apertures under bolts of fastening of a wheel, and also on absence of excessive deterioration or mechanical damages. In need of replacement at least one of disks replace both disks with axes.

Measure a thickness of a brake disk (
fig. 11.22). Value of the minimum admissible thickness of a brake disk is beaten out on a disk inside. For measurement of a thickness of a brake disk it is recommended to use a micrometer.
