Removal of the distributor of ignition on models with 1996 for 1998 make as follows:
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
Disconnect electric sockets from the ignition distributor.
Be convinced that about the plug of connection of a high-voltage wire of a candle of the first cylinder on a cover of the distributor of ignition there is a label 1, otherwise put a label.
Uncover the distributor of ignition and turn a cranked shaft of the engine in position at which the rotor will be directed to the plug 1 high-voltage wires of a candle of the first cylinder, thus the piston of the first cylinder will be in ВМТ in a compression step.

Put a label on the case of the distributor of ignition and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, for repeated installation of the distributor of ignition in a starting position (
fig. 6.5).
Turn out a bolt and remove the ignition distributor.

THE PREVENTION
Do not turn a cranked shaft of the engine at the removed distributor of ignition as position of adjusting labels will be broken.

Installation of the distributor of ignition on models with 1996 for 1998 make as follows:
If the cranked shaft was turned at the removed distributor of ignition, establish the piston of the first cylinder in ВМТ in a compression step.

Establish the distributor of ignition with a new sealing ring, having combined preliminary put labels. At installation the ledge on a shaft of the distributor of ignition should enter into a groove in a camshaft end face (
fig. 6.6).
Fix a bolt the ignition distributor.
The further installation is spent to sequences, return to removal.
